Our version of the classic “Kaleidoscope Deck” — also released over the years as “Gemini Twins”, “Stolen Cards”, and “The Motley Deck” among other names.

What Makes This Deck Special

This is not your typical kaleidoscope deck. Each Premium Kaleidoscope Deck was created by hand, disassembling our favorite premium decks of poker-sized playing cards, each with air-cushioned finish, manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company. These are the best cards you can buy — smooth, durable, and a pleasure to handle.

All premium decks included in the construction are collectible and many are limited editions, including decks such as Memento Mori, Bicycle, Ellusionist Artifact, and Red/Blue Monarchs. Many of these decks are now out of print, making each card in this deck a small piece of playing card history.

The Effect

The performer spreads the deck face down, revealing that every single card has a completely different back design — a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors, patterns, and artwork. It seems impossible that any two cards could ever match.

A spectator (or two spectators) freely selects cards from the spread. Despite the chaos of 52 unique designs, when the chosen cards are turned over, their backs are a perfect match — the only matching pairs in the entire deck.

No forces. No switches. The cards can be examined before and after. The spectator makes a genuinely free choice, and yet the impossible happens.
